Oh, and the north west winds, along with seasonally low tides, have blown the water out of the Laguna Madre. There are islands where no islands were before. The Oso bay is reduced to a mere puddle.... So much for Big Al's sea level rise...... <BR/><BR/>This is normal stuff.... Low water in winter and summer, high water in spring and fall. Happens the world over, but Big Al only concentrates on the "bull tides"...<BR/><BR/>I suspect that Venice is now experiencing their own bull tide (if our water is low, it's got to be high somewhere else!), along with some settling of their foundations into the soft mud on which Venice is built.
