Today, actually this morning, Gilbert E. Neeley, my old and dear friend died in Arizona at our land we have out there. He would have been 71 tomorrow. He got his three score and ten exactly to the day. He was a Master Mechanic. A fixer of the unfixable. We went through the wars of production together and helped this place grow to the size it is. I believe his body will be coming home to Indiana. I may be out of pocket for his funeral. And it looks like I have moved up the ladder to my ultimate appointment with God another step. I may as well get used to being in the missile silo cause I am bound to go up there. Your friends death causes you to realize your own mortality. But I am sure Gilbert is happy where he is today. God bless him and all of the rest of us old timers.

My condolences.
As a Master mechanic in my own right, there just went a life time of knowledge that is gone for ever.
I am traveling three hundred miles to my place of raising for a memorial service at 6 am tomorrow for a friend of the family who was there before I was born. The man lived behind my Grandmother for over Fifty years.
A week from tomorrow I get to do it again for my Uncle.
The knowledge that goes with these folks is going to be sorely missed here shortly.
I am sorry to hear of your loss.
God Speed.
My sincere condolences, Michael.
