I have to break in here at the news of the market. The DJIA is down 400 points. The unemployment is up to 5.5% The dollar has fallen against the Euro. Gold has gone of $900. With $138 a barrel oil expected to hit $150 by the 4th of July, we could be in for some shocks. Invest in tangibles!
++++++++++++++++
I get on the mainstream media and all they want to talk about is Obama and Clinton. Like I really give a damn. With the globalist set-up we now have in this country, the President is a bit player in a B-grade movie. Who is president just doesn't matter that much. Forces outside of presidential control are steering the boat and people better get used to that. And you heard it here, at Staying Alive! The President is just not allowed to realize how insignificant a jerk he really is. If he really wanted to make a difference he would put rational survivalists in his top cabinet positions. Man! Would that ever be a fun time! "President Dakin announced today that various models of the Army's M-16 rifle will be handed out to the citizens of this country at the rate of two weapons per household. The President announnced that 10,000 rounds of ammunition would go to each household also." "Secretary of State, Dr. Ron Paul, is on a globetrotting mission to explain why the USA is pulling all troops out of foreign countries and bringing them home. He is also telling foreign aid recipients that the money is going to stop and they will have to make it on their own. Howls of anguish are being heard from Israel to Indonesia but Dr. Paul is being adament about the aid cut-off."
You could get on this and come up with a whole new fantasy world if you really wanted to. And who can say that your fantasy would be worse than what we have right now? "Not I" said the Michael.
What survialists need to be doing is restoring balance to life. There needs to be a Harmony of Survival, not a Cacophony of Chaos. Sure, if the water starts to leak into the boat you try to get it plugged quickly and as best you can. That can be a rush to the brain. But what you really want to do is get back on the voyage! And thus we have the survivalist paradox. We want to live a normal life and raise our kids and live out our days. But the powers that be have our ship of state running into the rocks at full speed. And that makes it tough to maintain your social balance. You want to sing in the key of "D" but the band is playing in "A". Not a good thing.
It is well known that the media and the fedgov like to keep the public on edge. That is the new style of government relating to the governed. It is not really new, but it is in this country to a large degree. But they figure we are easier to control if we are a little bit upset with someone besides them. We are to depend on them to handle the problem for us. You realize, I am sure, that the problems are arranged in advance, along with the governments solution. Thank you Mr. Hegel.
So go ahead and prep and get ready for the hard times. They will come sooner if not later. After all, it's a set-up.
You have a built in shit detector inside of you that is pretty accurate. It can lead you to safety if you let it. It knows wrong from right, if it is fed proper data. See that it gets the facts. Don't be afraid to place your own thinking above that of the government. Thinking isn't much of a noisemaker anyhow. You can do it silently. Do not get spooked by news and propaganda. They are all under the control of those who wish to dominnate you. to manipulate you.
The media sets the agenda for the national discussion. What ever is on the news is what people talk about. Don't let them do this to you. Seek other sources of information. Talk to people on the net. Ask yourself constantly if you are being lied to. And if you are constantly geting diffferent answers than what is presented to you as fact by the media, then chances are you are being fed a line of shit.
In order to maintain some sort of balance in your life I would suggest two things. Number one is to take Melatonin at night about an hour before bedtime. Helps keep you sane and lets you dream. Dreaming is important to the human psyche. The other suggestion is to have a hobby. And I can't really tell you what to choose because it is for you and not for me. A hobby is a personal matter. Pick something you like and is pretty much legal and go to it.

DC gestapo tactics
Here is an article off of the Agitator. Just type it into Google if you want to know more about this guy. He also writes for FOXNEWS.COM.
D.C. police will seal off entire neighborhoods, set up checkpoints and kick out strangers under a new program that D.C. officials hope will help them rescue the city from its out-of-control violence.
Under an executive order expected to be announced today, police Chief Cathy L. Lanier will have the authority to designate “Neighborhood Safety Zones.” At least six officers will man cordons around those zones and demand identification from people coming in and out of them. Anyone who doesn’t live there, work there or have “legitimate reason” to be there will be sent away or face arrest, documents obtained by The Examiner show.
Lanier has been struggling to reverse D.C.’s spiraling crime rate but has been forced by public outcry to scale back several initiatives including her “All Hands on Deck” weekends and plans for warrantless, door-to-door searches for drugs and guns.
Under today’s proposal, the no-go zones will last up to 10 days, according to internal police documents. Front-line officers are already being signed up for training on running the blue curtains.
Here’s my favorite part:
Peter Nickles, the city’s interim attorney general, said the quarantine would have “a narrow focus.”
“This is a very targeted program that has been used in other cities,” Nickles told The Examiner. “I’m not worried about the constitutionality of it.”
Obviously not.
Last week, I received the following email:
I live in Eckington, a “transitional” neighborhood in northeast DC. I got a knock on the door this morning from a guy with ACORN (looks like a lefty community group that I’d never heard of) saying that DC police would be coming around shortly asking to search homes in the neighborhood for guns, and explaining we had the constitutional right to refuse, etc. He added that anything the police find they can use against you because “you never know what a friend of a friend might have left in your house” Not sure if he told me this because I had just gotten out of bed and had answered the door in my bathrobe looking disoriented, but I digress. He was handing out a packet of info from the ACLU including a nifty doorhanger you can put out that says “NO CONSENT TO SEARCH OUR HOME”. One of my neighbors told me the guy told them they were only doing this in poor black neighborhoods, and this notice from the ACLU that I found online seems to bear this out.
I know it’s not exactly a wrong-door no-knock raid, but I am concerned because while I certainly don’t want the police (or any other strangers) rummaging through my junk, I’m kind of afraid of what would happen if I refuse the search. I already live on one of those streets with the surveillance cams installed. Does my address get ‘marked’ for being uncooperative or suspicious? I should mention of course that I don’t own any guns and have never touched anything more powerful than a bb gun.
You are free to refuse the searches. But if a regular reader of this site feels uncomfortable asserting that right, you can imagine how other people subject to these searches might feel. Despite the promises of amnesty, I have a hard time believing you’re going to get off if you allow the police into your home and they find significant amounts of drugs or weapons.
Stay alive.

Vice President Riverwalker?
BTW, I've posted some more thoughts on group survival.
Sounds okay to me!
