I don't necessarily care much for the religious beliefs of these people. I don't like religions much. But I feel to support them in getting their children back from the state of Texas. Texas pulled this shit at Waco. The guy who pulled the string was Secretary of the Treasury, Lloyd Benson, a loyal son of Texas politics.

I have to agree with you. I'm not religious at all but what's going on at the FLDS compound isn't right. Imagine the outcry if the government decided to go into an inner city neighborhood and take all of the children away because an anonymous kid called the authorities to report their parents for abuse.
"Family Values" Texas style. At least they didn't burn the children this time. Sounds like the sherrif there is still using Janet Reno's book though.
Fear, uncertainty, doubt, lies, and innuendo...all stock in trade for the "Man" with political aspirations...The "they must be doing something wrong because they are different than us" school of thought should have died out long ago...
I have to agree with Vlad, and despite my intense dislike for the "churchiness" (read: delusion and mind control) of religion, the whole anonymous abused teen wife who cannot be found reeks of constructed pretext.
The rumor roaming around now is that some former FLDS chick that "got away" years ago is the one that made the call. She's been trying to sabotage them from her shitty little apartment in Colorado Springs for years.
