FYI - Aspirin
I read this in my newspapaer yesterday and thought it was something you all should know, if you don't know already.
The New York Times Magazine (Nov. 2, 2008) revealed that there are no major generic aspirin manufacturers in Europe or the U. S. Most aspirin is now made in China.
Many over-the-counter medications and prescription drugs come from manufacturers in China, India or other parts of Asia.
There is no country-of-origin labeling required. They have to put country-of-origin on clothes and now food, so why not the medicines?

Because the drug companies and others are all about profit first; safety second (maybe). Methinks it would be one quick way to poison millions of people. Just doctor the aspirin ingredients (much like milk and chocolates and dog food, to name a few) and the ship it out to the great American consumer.
